The newly built Maia Luxury Resort Spa is situated in the green mountain chain along the bay of Anse Louis in the southwest of Mah The resort is named after the Maia star The Great One in The Seven Sisters star constellation The resort and gardens have been designed by renowned architect Bill Bensley and convey a mixture of Far Eastern influences combined with traditional Creole style

Maia overlooks Anse Louis beach on the south-west coast of Mah This is a quiet corner of the island although Maia does not feel too cut off from local life helped by the fact that it fronts a public beach
