In keeping with Zanzibar tradition he has built a lodge that looks traditionally Zanzibari but has additional creature comforts of a larger lodge This means you get the quiet intimacy but also have the luxuries and creature comforts Do not expect a 5 star European Lodge but rather a very comfortable clean and well run guesthouse situated right on top of one of the most magnificent beaches in Zanzibar

Accommodation

Arabian Nights takes pride in providing their customers with quality rooms decorated in Zanzibar royal style with a blend of western touch The rooms have been tiled with beautiful Italian tiles and the interiors are pleasing to the eye

All rooms have beautiful glass and wooden doors opening out on to the ocean The sea front rooms are only a few metres from the ocean and therefore the most popular but the standard rooms are just as comfortable and have exactly the same interiors only no sea view They are located towards the back of the hotel and offer views to a beautiful landscaped garden

All rooms have standing fans air-conditioning which is very refreshing in the heat mini-bar hair dryer ensuite bathroom mosquito net large verandah hot water facilities and satellite television Added to this the rooms have baths and a shower

These are by far the most comfortable and well equipped guesthouse rooms on the island

Dining

The restaurant has been built above the reception and dive centre and provides food prepared by their local chef Meals range from traditional Zanzibar food to western cuisine They also serve a good variety of seafood dishes which are recommended

The spacious dining area is enclosed and offers spectacular ocean views If you want to try something different there are plenty of places within walking distance to go and eat or enjoy a night out

Activities Facilities

A favourite with guest is the Arabian Tent Lounge specially designed for the Arabian experience and guest can take their meal there or just relax Paje Kizimkazi has all the water sports and activities for everyone and every age Diving isn t the only activity on offer varieties of water activities available - canoeing water skiing Banana boat ride Tube ride windsurfing parasailing is all for a very cheap price than anywhere else in the east coast

Paje Dive Centre

The hotel has its own outdoor entertainment and diving centre The scuba diving centre offers good and interesting opportunitues to discover the island and our guest have the comfort of easy access to enjoy activities at a reasonable price

Paje Dive Centre is Paje only dive centre and dive operation located on the eastern end of Zanzibar It is on the frontiers of stretched beach and uncrowded sand Paje is ideal for water sports and merely relaxation It s a 90 minutes drive from Stone town The Clear blue sea and the pure white sand is exactly what you are heading for-breath taking sight

Our reefs are Paje Jambiani and Kizimkazi Most of the dives operations are in the southern east half of Zanzibar This leaves our dive centre with a real sense of discovery when diving
