Hi Charisse, How are you? All the best for the new year. Everything was very well organised which was great. The hotel was stunning, the catamaran was amazing, we saw dolphins, which i have never really seen before. The rooms were gorgeous and so comfortable and spacious. The weather was perfect which was so great. The only bad thing was I got very sick on the last day. I got food poisoning and was taken to hospital for severe dehydration. That was terrible, I spent the night in the hospital and left at 4 so we could be ready for our collection in time. The hospital itself was stunning, and I was treated so well. Everything was great, it is so beautiful there. The only thing I would complain about is the hotel did not care that I had severe food poisoning from their food and they tried to over charge us (they kept a large amount of our change) but nick realised and spoke up. Thank you so much for everything, I will definitely be using your services again. I am thinking of a cruise for this December. Thanks again.

Hi Charisse, I would like to thank you again for organising our trip to Egypt, and give some feed back on our experience. I would highly recommend Emico travel in Egypt their service was impeccable, and made the whole experience a pleasure. The Marriot in Sharm-el-Shaik was a briliant hotel on the other hand I would not recommend the Hilton in Cairo, as in my opinion it it not more than a 3-star hotel. In my opinion the Marriot or Hyatt hotels are of better quality. We were a bit unsure about our transfer from Sharm-el-Shaik airport to the diving boat, you could possibly in future just indicate on the documentation that if this is included and who the responsible company is. Dear Brendan, We returned from Mauritius last week and it was the best holiday for our family in a long time! The hotel was super, the location can't be bettered and the whole experience is something to treasure forever! Your arrangements worked like a well oiled Swiss watch and we never had to wait for anything except booking in at the hotel. I did not know that Mauritius Air and SAA share flights. Is it perhaps still possible to claim voyager miles?. My voyager number is **********. To Mauritius (4/07) our seat numbers were 30E & F and 31E and F and from Mauritius (11/07) 31E and F and 32E and F. Thank you once again for suggesting the Le Mauricio Hotel. Hi Charisse, The trip was totally awesome and Graham was truly surprised. The resort was fabulous and we actually drove up to Sugar Beach to have a look and Le Preskil was so much better in terms of the vibe and friendliness. Sugar Beach is a lot more prim and proper although I have heard that it is good for children, I think I only saw one child in the resort. Anyway we had a blast. We are considering looking at taking our girls to Mauritius in December, could you please look into that for me, I believe that Club Med is nice for children but you would know better than me. We are looking at leaving +-26th December for about 10 days. Thanks a million for everything I really appreciate it. You’re a star. Regards Melanie

The people were warm and Friendly…the hotel staff were fabulous…(we wanted to bring them back with us). we’ve made so many friends and brought back many special memories…not to mention the gifts for kids!. I must mention the lovely birthday surprise…which Ravi had a hand in as well! Just the other day, we called a few of our “Mauritian” friends. They were delighted to hear from us..I’m sure they must have thought that we’ve forgotten about them. It was indeed a lovely place to visit! The honeymoon and beach wedding will most certainly be a treasured memory ... one which will remain with us for the rest of our lives. Furthermore the accommodation was splendid, and the meals enticing and mouth-watering … However there is one thing which I wish to bring to your attention:- The Hotel into which we were booked on the eve of our departure, offered a bed and breakfast package. We were unfortunately not able to enjoy this benefit, as we had to leave at the crack of dawn. In such instance a dinner package would have been more favourable and suitable. I spent a week at Vilu Reef in the Maldives. Vilu Reef is an exceptional resort. Both the service and accomodation at this resort were very impressive. I have a 15 month old child who was pampered just as much as my wife and I. They went out of their way to accomodate my child. They even served supper earlier for her. Not many resorts can match their service levels. I also spent 3 nights at the Metropolitan in Dubai. This hotel is amongst the worst hotels I have ever visited. It was the total opposite of Vilu Reef. The reception staff were cold and rude. It is a 4 star hotel but you have to upgrade from a standard room just to get a kettle. I needed one for my child's milk but even this was not good enough for them. A kettle will cost you a couple hundred extra per night.

Hi Deborah, I have been meaning to update you on our Kuredu Maldives trip. It was absolutely awesome and thanks to yourselves, there were no glitches or problems --- it was an absolute pleasure. The accommodation and the island was awesome and the diving and the diving centre was great!! The only letdown was the long haul there and back. The return leg was particularly long – but I notice that there is now a direct flight – that will make a big difference. WE WILL BE BACK IN THE MALDIVES!!!!!!!! NOW – we are looking at a holiday to Thailand. A bit of sightseeing and lots of diving and fishing. Do you put together travel packages to Thailand – if not – can you point us in the right direction. Hi Deborah, What a wonderful holiday we had. Everything when so smoothly, thanks to you. Kani was absolutely paradise. Our bungalow had the most perfect view. (106). For next year's trip I would love to book any room from 102 to 110. (overlooking the hotel and boathouse). Weather wise VERY hot with 3 huge rainstorms. Lasted ±10 minutes, but did not even cool us off. We were in the water 85% of the day. Came back to a freezing cold PE. We had the rest we needed. Food, service, accommodation, nothing to complain about. Flights just very long, we heard there's now a direct flight (7hrs) available from JHB to Male, hope that's true.?? The Dubai trip had only 1 hiccup, nobody came to fetch us at the Airport, had to take a taxi. We asked the Hotel, they blame Arabian Tours and Arabian tours blame the Hotel. The rest of the trip was fine, only to hot and very tiresome with all the running around to see everything. My feet looked like 2 balls. If all's well and we are spared another year, I'll contact you again in Feb/March'08. Again, many thanks Henry & Erika

Good day coconutsands crew Hope you had a great weekend Thank you for organising our trip to swaziland-ezulwini. We had a really enjoyable and relaxed time in Swaziland. The people are so friendly and helpful-they made our stay so much more relaxed and stress free. I'm happy to say that travelling on the swazi roads was a pleasure and the drivers were courteous.A real change from driving in Joburg. We had good food at the planters restaurant-though the meals are quite pricey. The terrace served buffet at the royal swazi and was worth the money,good variety for everyone. The calabash restaurant was a good night out and a change from the hotel restaurants. Overall a great experience and would reccomend it to people wanting to see more of the south african neighbouring countries.

The only thing we thought we should mention is that the Marco Polo Hotel (Dubai) - depending on what side you stay, can be pretty noisy (especially if your room is above the bar). Dear Brendan and Deborah A belated thank you for organizing a marvellous holiday to Mapenzi Beach Club in Zanzibar for our family. WE HAD A BALL!!! It is a great place for older kids (mine are 10 and 13) - it was never crowded and the holiday makers were relaxed - no one bothered to toff-up, so it's not for people who want to "be seen". Everything went smoothly, the facilities were great and of course, the weather was faultless. I even bumped into an old boarding-school mate who I haven't seen in 27 years - how's that!!!!! A tip to travellers: we used the local guides for excursions - snorkelling, sight-seeing etc. They are very trustworthy and much cheaper (and more interesting) than going on hotel organized tours. You get a feel for the people and the place, and they try so hard to please. Thanks again for your hard work. Regards Debbie Joubert
